To specify what COGS Categories matters to you and your business, head over to your company settings and then click on the COGS tab:

From here, you'll be able to manage, create, modify, delete your COGS Categories.

Start by clicking on the green "New COGS" button.

A pop-up will ask you to name your new COGS Category. This is where you can write FOOD, ALCOHOL, BEVERAGE, WINE, PAPER (those are just examples).

Then you'll have to select the appropriate inventory items category that fall under this COGS category (ie. Bread for FOOD, White wine for WINE, Meat for FOOD).

After selecting the correct inventory items categories, you'll need to select the relevant menu items categories that should be associated together. Using the drop down list, select the correct menu items categories. (White wines for WINE, Burgers for FOOD, Vodka for ALCOHOL).

Last step is to hit the save button!
