If you want to change the category, sub-category, or storage of multiple inventory items at once you can use the Batch Edit tool.

When you are on the inventory item Main page, select the checkboxes of items you want to modify. This will prompt a set of options such as delete, print, and Batch Edit. Clicking on Batch Edit will allow you to either change the category, the sub-category, or the storage of your selected items.

Category

To change the category, simply select "Category" in the top dropbox. Then choose the category to which you want to transfer your items and click "Update".

Sub-Category

To change the sub-category, simply select "Sub-category" in the top dropbox. Then choose the sub-category to which you want to transfer your items and click "Update".

Storage

You can either add or remove a storage to your items. Select the "storage" in the top dropbox. From there you will have two options(add or remove).

To add one or more storages to your selected items, just click on the "add" button and select the storage to add to your items. (Note: you can create a storage at any moment by clicking the "+" button) Click "Update" to apply the changes.

To remove one or more storages to your selected items, just click on the "remove" button and select the storages you wish to remove. Click "Update" to apply the changes.

NOTE : The Batch Edit tool can also be used in the Recipe Main Page as well as the Menu Items Main Page
