A restaurant constantly tries to produce as little waste as possible. Tracking your waste will allow you to track the money you lost and will allow you to factor it in your variances analysis.
To register a new waste, head over to your waste main page and click on the green button "New Waste".
It's from this box that you will be able to select the inventory item, recipe, or menu item that you have wasted. Then add the amount that was lost, the date upon which it happened, and the reason for the waste. If the reason you want does not exist, simply add it using the "+" button.
