If you want to enter a new request for time off by an employee, go to the “Request” tab under “Human Resources” in the left-hand side menu. 

Click on the “NEW REQUEST” green button. This will open a pop up to enter the request.

Employee name: Click on the drop-down to select the employee. If you have many employees you can type their name in the search bar to save time. 

Start: the date and time of when this request start

End: the date and time for when this request ends

The reason for the request

Managers notes: this is for you internally, for the rest of your team to know why the decision was rendered.

Response: Select the status of the request: In Review, Approved or Declined

Under the response is a box where you can write a reason that will be sent to the employee regarding their request. 

Click add to add the request to the list.
