It has been reported that Microsoft Defender, part of Office 365 for businesses automatically blocks certain emails.

It is the case for the verification email you are expected to receive in order to complete your account creation. This issue occurs when Microsoft Defender considers the emails from Piecemeal as untrusted sender based on the sender's domain name. This article provides information on how to resolve this issue by adding the Piecemeal platform to the tenant allow/block list for email spoofing in Microsoft Defender.

Steps to Add Piecemeal to Trusted Senders List in Microsoft Defender:

Log in to your Microsoft 365 account as an administrator.

  1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.

  2. In the left navigation, click on the Security & Compliance section.

  3. Click on Threat management, then click on Policy.

  4. In the Policy section, click on Anti-spoofing.

  5. Under the Tenant-level allow/block list, click on Edit.

  6. Add the Piecemeal platform's domain name (www.piecemeal.io) to the list of Trusted senders.

  7. Click on Save changes to complete the process.

Note: To find the domain name for the Piecemeal platform, contact the Piecemeal support team.
